I filled each pastry with matcha custard and topped a dollop of cream and strawberry slices. The end result was pretty darn good. Thanks Jdrama, Zettai Kareshi for inspiring this creation!

To make the Green tea custard filling that I substituted for the regular whipped cream, just make custard filling as usual and add 2 teaspoons of matcha green tea powder (which you can find at your local Japanese grocery).
