Food Diary #1

- My Breakfast -

Homemade peach pie filling (see upcoming post!!), a dollop of sour cream, and a toasted bagel - SO EASY BUT FILLING, anyone can make it :D

 - My Lunch -

Omelet with ketchup, fried rice (rice, soysauce, salt, celery slices, lemon juice for flavor)

 - Dinner -

usually will be a detox juice or smoothie like the one I made here. If I get really hungry (which is 90% of the time -_-... I'll eat a toasted bagel sandwiched with cream cheese)

What are some foods you'd eat on a diet?

  1. Hello!

Thanks so much for your kind comments, what you said truly meant a lot to me and I really took it to heart. When I started by blog, I also looked up to all of those lifestyle and fashion blogs. But in the end, I asked myself what I truly desired to accomplish in a blog; people will oggle and fawn over tangible possessions, but I believe a few thoughtful words can truly change people.

It looks like you've got a lovely blog started; I will definitely follow you :) I personally don't like whiny diary entries either...believe me, it took a lot of editing to avoid that! But, if you have faith that someone out there cares what you have to say, you will be successful! I, for one, look forward to them!

sorry for babbling a little in excitement >< best wishes and take care~

    1. I love long comments! It shows that you took the precious time and effort to respond to fellow bloggers. I agree with you on that sometimes you need posts that contain insightful thoughts rather than merely on clothing/makeup (although those are important on a beauty blog too haha). You are my inspiration on this, you might find me doing some musings on here from now on! :P

      Thank you for the follow!

  3. OMG those pictures are making me drool! LOL! I am for some reason, ALWAYS hungry! Even if I eat like a huge plate of rice, still hungry... So it's always a challenge to find the healthy foods to eat. Although I'm personally not on a diet, but I still am careful on what I eat because my family has a history of heart problems (even though they are thin) so I try and avoid the fatty foods if I can.

One of my favourite things to make is noodles, because I usually finish excercise around 3pm and get super hungry, but it's too early for dinner. I use noodles from the chinese store, like pumpkin, or wheat, etc...

I put some bok choy, lily bulb (dried flower things), tomatoes, mushrooms with miso, as well as chopped onion (spice), garlic powder, chili peppers, paprika and depending on taste, salt/soy sauce if needed.

I actually got that idea because I keep watching these chinese shows where people are eating noodles and I just can't help myself LOL!

    1. Mee toooo I find myself always snacking on something after meals lol.. Yes, I know my grandparents and relatives eat a lot of deep fried junk food so I try to be more healthy so I could minimize the risks of illness and stuff that they get.
MMM... those noodles sound like a great recipe! You could try Zhajiangmian! My favorite Chinese noodle dish. Although its not considered the healthiest, but it will definitely satisfy hunger (at least for me :P)

    2. Yeah haha, it's so hard not to snack! Sometimes it's the snacks that finally fill me up. I have no idea what's with not feeling full! mmmmmm I used to have Zhajiangmian! ITS SO DELICIOUS! And makes me drool lol!
I really love experimenting with different food, but too bad sometimes I don't have time.
Yeah I notice a lot of people tend to eat a lot of deep fried junk food. I too try and avoid those. OMG that green fruit/vegetable drink recipe you posted on another blog looks AWESOME too which I must try!
